Jesse Redwing Student File

The file contains a student information card, a returned student survey, a former student response postcard and report after leaving indicating that he was a farmer in Santee, Nebraska in 1913.

Clarence R. Ross Student File

Student file of Clarence R. Ross, a member of the Wichita Nation, who entered the school on September 13, 1908 and departed on June 16, 1913. The file contains a student information card, an application for enrollment, a medical/physical record, outing evaluations, a returned student survey, outing records, a financial transaction, a progress/conduct card, and correspondence. The file indicates Ross was living in Anadarko, Oklahoma in 1913.

Note: At the time of scanning at the U.S. National Archives, several documents in this student file seemed to relate to two different students, Willis Jackson and James Shemamy. These document have now been included with their respective files: Willis Jackson, NARA_RG 75_Series 1327_box 98_folder 4306; and James Shemamy, NARA_RG 75_Series 1327_box 93_folder 4142.

Antonio Waconda Student File

Student file of Antonio Waconda, a member of the Pueblo Nation, who entered the school on September 18, 1909 and departed June 8, 1914. The file contains a student information card, an application for enrollment, medical and physical records, outing evaluations, a trade and position record card, outing records, and correspondence between Antonio and the school indicating that he was living and working in Riverbank, California in 1916. 

Note: In this file the student's name also appears as Antonio Facundo, Antonio Wacondo, Antonio Wacunda, and Antonia Wilcunda.

Samuel Chubby Student File

Student file of Samuel Chubby, a member of the Cheyenne Nation, who entered the school on September 21, 1910 and departed on May 14, 1912. The file contains a student information card, an application for enrollment, medical/physical records, a progress/conduct card, an outing evaluation, and an outing record.

Note: In this file the student is referred to as Samuel Chubby and George Chubby.

Luis Little Student File

Student file of Luis Little, a member of the Apache Nation, who entered the school on October 15, 1910. No final departure date is given. The file contains student information cards, a trade/position record card, applications for enrollment, a medical/physical record, outing records, a progress/conduct card, financial transactions, outing evaluations, certificates of promotion, and letters/correspondence. The file indicates Little was living at Hog Island, Pennsylvania in 1918.

Note: In the file the student is referred to as Luis Little and Louis Little.

Daniel Needham Student File

Student file of Daniel Needham, a member of the Chippewa Nation, who entered the school on September 27, 1911, and ultimately departed on February 5, 1915. The student did not attend the school continuously, but left and reentered. The file contains student information cards, letters/correspondence, financial transactions, medical/physical records, applications for enrollment, outing records, and outing evaluations. The file indicates that Needham worked on outing at the St. Charles Place Hotel in Atlantic City, New Jersey in 1914 and was attending the Haskell Institute in Lawrence, Kansas in 1915 and 1916.

Harry One Feather Student File

Student file of Harry One Feather, a member of the Sioux Nation, who entered the school on September 30, 1912 and departed on October 2, 1913. The file contains an application for enrollment, financial transactions, a student information card, medical/physical records, an outing record, and letters/correspondence. The file indicates that One Feather was living in Wood, South Dakota in 1913.

John Needham Student File

Student file of John Needham, a member of the Chippewa Nation, who entered the school on December 6, 1913 and departed on June 3, 1917. The file contains student information cards, letters, a photograph, an application for enrollment, medical/physical records, an outing evaluation, financial transactions, an outing record, and a certificate of promotion. The file indicates that after leaving Carlisle Needham joined the army and was stationed at Fort Benjamin Harrison, Indiana in the 10th Infantry, Company D.
