The later survey indicates that Smith was working as a rancher in White Rocks, Utah in 1913.

The student did not attend the school continuously, but left and reentered. The file indicates Walker was assisting in ethnology work in Shawnee, Oklahoma in 1911.

Murphy Tarby (Nicholas Longfeather) Student File

Student file of Murphy Tarby (known as Nicholas Longfeather after leaving Carlisle), a member of the Yuma Nation, who entered the school on August 29, 1901 and departed on June 30, 1905. The file contains newspaper clippings with photographs, former student response postcards, a returned student survey, correspondence, and a report after leaving indicating that Longfeather had attended Syracuse University in Syracuse, New York before becoming a forester/plant pathologist in Atlanta, Georgia in 1911.

The student did not attend the school continuously, but left and reentered. The file contains a returned student survey, a former student response postcard, student information cards, letters/correspondence, a news clipping, a trade/position record card, and a report after leaving that indicates Charles was a farmer and a blacksmith in Santa Clara, Utah in 1913.

The student did not attend the school continuously, but left and reentered. The file contains student information cards, news clippings, a former student response postcard, a returned student survey, a physical record, an application for enrollment, a position record card, a conduct card, and a report after leaving indicating Charley was working as a domestic in Galena, Kansas in 1913. 

Note: Charley married fellow student Jerome Kennerly.

The file contains former student response postcards, a student information card, a returned student survey, an application for enrollment, a news clipping, letters/correspondence, and a report after leaving indicating. The file indicates Robertson was an Indian Trader in Allen, South Dakota in 1910, a States Attorney in Martin, South Dakota in 1913, a County Judge in Martin, South Dakota in 1913, and living in Martin, South Dakota in 1914.

Dora Cooke Student File

Student file of Dora Cooke, a member of the Ottawa Nation, who entered the school on October 19, 1901 and departed on June 27, 1906. The file contains a student information card, a returned student survey in which she indicates she is working for the Forest Service as a stenographer, new clippings, a former student response postcard, correspondence in which she recommends her brother for enrollment at the school. This file also contains a report after leaving indicating she was living in Ogden, Utah in 1913. 

Note: In this file the student's name appears as Dorris Cooke, Dora Cooke, Dorris Cook, and Dora Cook. She often writes back under her married name Dorris Head.

Emma Burrows Student File

Student file of Emma Burrows, a member of the Yuma Nation, who entered the school on October 21, 1901, graduated in 1906, and departed on July 3, 1906. The file contains a student information card, a newspaper clipping, a returned student survey, and a report after leaving indicating that in 1910 Burrows had married William French and was living in Phoenix, Arizona.

Paul Evans Student File

Student file of Paul Evans, a member of the Pima Nation, who entered the school on October 25, 1901 and departed on August 18, 1906. The file contains a student information card, a newspaper clipping, a letter, a returned student survey, and a report after leaving indicating that in 1910 Evans had married Helen H. Jackson and was a farmer living in Sacaton, Arizona.

James Phillips Student File

Student file of James Phillips, a member of the Cherokee Nation, who entered the school on October 27, 1901, and departed on June 17, 1903. The file contains a student information card, newspaper clippings, a photograph, correspondence, a trade/position record card, and a report after leaving.

The file indicates Phillips played football for Carlisle, graduated from the Dickinson College law department in Carlisle, Pennsylvania and the Northwestern University law school in Evanston, Illinois. Phillips then moved to Aberdeen, Washington where he was a hod carrier for three years before joining a law practice. He was elected judge in Aberdeen, Washington in 1911 and was working as an attorney in the law firm of Taggart and Phillips in Aberdeen, Washington in 1912. He was later was elected mayor of Aberdeen, Washington in 1915.

Note: in this file the student is also identified as James M. Phillips, William H. Phillips, and James Philips.

Minnie White Student File

Student file of Minnie White, a member of the St. Regis Nation, who entered the school on Novemer 1, 1901 and ultimately departed on June 19, 1911. The student did not attend the school continuously, but left and reentered. The file contains a student information card, photographs, news clippings, returned student surveys, progress/conduct cards, an outing evaluation, applications for enrollment, medical/physical records, an outing records, a report after leaving, and a letter/correspondence. The file indicates White was a teacher at a reservation school in Hogansburg, New York in 1914.

Note: In this file the student is identified as Minnie White, Minnie White Wheeler, and Mrs. Ralph Wheeler.

Dora Snyder Student File

Student file of Dora Snyder, a member of the Tonawanda Seneca Nation, who entered the school on November 2, 1901 and departed on May 17, 1909. The file contains a medical/physical record, a progress/conduct record, a student information card, an application for enrollment, a news clipping, and a report after leaving indicating Snyder was a housewife in Akron, New York in 1910.

Note: Although this file indicates that Snyder reentered the school on October 6, 1906, other records show that she had first enrolled at Carlisle on November 2, 1901.

Patrick Verney Student File

Student file of Patrick Verney, member of the Alaskan Nation, who entered the school on November 3, 1901 and ultimately graduated in 1909, departing on April 5, 1909. The student did not attend the school continuously, but left and reentered. The file contains an application of enrollment, student information cards, a progress/conduct card, a medical/physical record, correspondence, a report after leaving, a former student response postcard, a returned student survey, news clippings, and a marriage announcement for Patrick Verney and Grace Kie, another graduate of the school.

The file indicates Verney worked in a printing office in Ketchikan, Alaska in 1909 and was a business student in Chemawa, Oregon in 1912 and a student at the Capital Business College in Salem, Oregon in 1913.

Florence White Student File

Student file of Florence White, a member of the Winnebago Nation, who entered the school on November 20, 1901 and departed on August 25, 1906. The file contains a student information card, a letter/correspondence, an application for enrollment, and a news clipping. The file indicates White attended the Tomah Indian school and was a housekeeper in the home of United States Congressman John J. Esch.

Lizzie Hayes Student File

Student file of Lizzie Hayes, a member of the Nez Perce Nation, who entered the school on February 24, 1902, and departed June 30, 1908. The file contains a student information card, news clippings about her life after leaving the school, an application for enrollment, a report after leaving, and a returned student survey indicating she was married and living in Kamiah, Idaho in 1914.

Note: In this file the student writes back to the school under her married name Lizzie Grant.

Student file of Dana Mitchell, a member of the Penobscot Nation, who entered the school on September 3, 1902 and departed on September 4, 1907. The file contains correspondence, a student information card, returned student surveys, a news clipping, and a report after leaving that indicates that Mitchell was working as a lumberjack in Old Town, Maine in 1910.

Michael Solomon Student File

Student file of Michael Solomon, a member of the St. Regis Nation, who entered the school on September 3, 1902, and departed on January 16, 1906. The file contains a student information card, a returned student survey, letters and correspondence, a newspaper clipping, and a report after leaving indicating that in 1910 Solomon was farming in Hogansburg, New York, before becoming employed by the High Lumber Company in New Bridge, New York in 1911. 

Note: Solomon was married to fellow student Nettie Cole.

Julia Jackson Student File

Student file of Julia Jackson, a member of the Piegan Nation, who entered the school on September 5, 1902 and departed on January 23, 1911. The file contains a student information card, a trade/position record card, a news clipping, an application for enrollment, a former student response postcard, a medical/physical record, a returned student survey, a progress/conduct card, and a report after leaving. The file indicates Jackson was performing housekeeping tasks at her home in Grey Cliff, Montana in 1911 and 1913.

Note: Some documentation also lists Julia as Crow, but her application suggests she was Piegan.

James Schrimpscher Student File

Student file of James Schrimpscher, a member of the Wyandotte Nation, who entered the school on September 10, 1902, and departed on September 6, 1907. The file contains a student information card, a report after leaving, a news clipping, and a returned student survey indicating that Schrimpscher was a member of the 12th US Cavalry in 1911.

Olive Chisholm Student File

Student file of Olive Chisholm, a member of the Shawnee Nation, who entered the school on September 10, 1902. A note in the final says she re-enrolled on September 10, 1907 but no final departure date is given. The file contains a photograph, news clippings, trade/position record cards, a progress/conduct card, medical/physical records, and an application for enrollment. The news clipping indicates the student returned to her home in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Note: The student in this file is identified as Olive Chisholm and Ollie Chisholm.
