Eugene Cheago Student File

Student file of Eugene Cheago, a member of the Pima Nation, who entered the school on February 25, 1895 and departed July 6, 1901. The file contains a student information card, letters/correspondence, former student response postcards, a report after leaving and a returned student survey. The file indicates Hayes was was a farmer in Salt River, Arizona in 1910 and a farmer in Sacaton, Arizona in 1913 and 1914.

Note: While at school this student was known as both Cheago and Chiago. After leaving the school, he seems to have consistently used the name Eugene Hayes or Eugene C. Hayes in his correspondence.

Joseph Gouge Student File

Student file of Joseph Gouge, a member of the Chippewa Nation, who entered the school on September 4, 1895, graduated in 1899, and departed on March 6, 1899. The file contains a student information card and a report after leaving. The file indicates Gouge was in the Army in 1907 and was a railroad engineer for the St. Paul and Duluth Railroad in 1914.

Note: In this file the student is identified as Joseph Gouge and Joseph Gougie.

Percy White Bear Student Information Card

Student information card of Percy White Bear, a member of the Cheyenne Nation, who entered the school on September 9, 1896. He died on July 22, 1899 and was buried in the cemetery on the school grounds.
