Sara Jackson Student File

Student file of Stacy Beck, member of the Cherokee Nation, who entered the school on June 20, 1901 and ultimately graduated in 1910, departing on April 25, 1910. The student did not attend the school continuously, but left and reentered. The file contains student information cards, new clippings, trade/position record cards, and letters/correspondence indicating that Beck accepted a position as an assistant matron in Albuquerque, New Mexico in 1910.

Rosetta Pierce (Da-ga-nade-yohse) Student File

Student file of Rosetta Pierce (Da-ga-nade-yohse), a member of the Seneca Nation, who entered the school on November 23, 1903, and ultimately departed on May 18, 1912. The student did not attend the school continuously, but left and reentered. The file contains student information cards, student outing records, a progress/conduct card, an application for enrollment, medical/physical records, newspaper clippings, outing evaluations, and a report after leaving. The file indicates Pierce was married to Thomas Owl at the home of Superintendent Moses Friedman and was living in Birdtown, North Carolina in 1912.

Note: in this file the student is identified as Rosetta Pierce and Rose Pierce.

Abbie Jamison Student File

Student file of Abbie Jamison, a member of the Seneca Nation, who entered the school on March 4, 1908, and departed on June 11, 1913. The file contains a student information card, physical records an application for enrollment, financial transactions, correspondence, outing evaluations, a conduct card, outing records, and a report after leaving indicating Jamison was living in Buffalo, New York.

Note: In this file the student's last name appears as Jamison, Jameson, and Jamerson.

Note: At the time of scanning at the U.S. National Archives, some of the documents in Abbie Jamison's folder seemed to relate to a different student, Levi Jemison. Those documents have now been included in the Levi Jemsion file; NARA_RG 75_Series 1327_box 121_folder 4868.

Minnie Crow Student File

Student file of Minnie Crow, a member of the Cherokee Nation, who entered the school on November 2, 1910 and departed on September 5, 1911. The file contains a student information card, an application for enrollment, medical/physical records, an outing evaluation, an outing record, and a report after leaving indicating that Crow had died in 1911 after departing from Carlisle.

Note: In the file the student is referred to as Minnie Crow and Minnie Crowe.
