The file contains newspaper clippings, a photograph, letters/correspondence, a former student response postcard, financial transactions, a returned student survey, and a report after leaving indicating that in 1907 Nash married Edna T. Renton and held various jobs in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania including salesman and an office worker. The files indicate that while at Carlisle, Nash was a long distance runner.

Augusta Nash Student File

Student file of Augusta Nash, a member of the Winnebago Nation, who entered the school on August 22, 1896, graduated in 1901, and departed on March 20, 1901. The file contains a student information card, a returned student survey, and a report after leaving indicating she was working as a seamstress in Nevada in 1912.

Student file of Pliga Nash, a member of the Winnebago Nation, who entered the school on August 22, 1896, graduated in 1902, and departed on February 11, 1902. The file contains a student information card, a photograph, returned student surveys, former student response postcards, a news clipping, a letter/correspondence, and a report after leaving. The file indicates that Nash was a student in the Haskell Institute in Lawrence, Kansas business course from 1906 and graduated from there in 1908, successfully passed the civil service exam for clerk and stenographer and typewriter in 1908, and was living in Crow Agency, Montana in 1915.

Note: This student is known as both Pelagie Nash and Piliga Nash.

The file contains a former student response postcard, a student information card, a trade/position record card, a report after leaving, returned student surveys, and correspondence. The file indicates that Nash was an assistant matron in the Indian Service from 1903 to 1908, and was living in Thurston, Nebraska in 1913.

Note: In the file the student is identified as Violetta Nash and Vivetta Nash.

The student did not attend the school continuously, but left and reentered. The file contains student information cards, a newspaper clipping, a position record card, an application for enrollment, letters and correspondence, a returned student survey, former student response postcards, and a report after leaving indicating Nash was working as a farmer in Thurston, Nebraska in 1910 before moving to Red Oak, Iowa in 1913 to be an automobile mechanic.

The file indicates Nash was a housewife in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania while married to Clarence R. Woodbury in 1911 and was living in Chicago, Illinois in 1915.

The file indicates that Nash was a student in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania at the Monotype Factory in 1915.

George Nash Student File

Student file of George Nash, a member of the Winnebago Nation, who entered the school on September 20, 1911 and ultimately departed on September 25, 1917. The student did not attend the school continuously, but left and reentered. The file contains student information cards, applications for enrollment, medical/physical records, a trade/position record card, financial transactions, and a report after leaving indicating that Nash was farming and working in a print shop in Thurston, Nebraska in 1915. The file also contains letters and correspondence regarding Nash's family, his time at the Ford Motor Company in Detroit, Michigan, and his enrollment in night courses at Michigan State Auto School.

Note: One of George Nash's documents was originally found in the folder of another student; Charles Kelsey, NARA_RG 75_Series 1327_box 90_folder 4091.
