Pressly Houk (Houk) Student File

Student file of Pressly Houk (Houk), a member of the Piegan Nation, who entered the school on March 26, 1890 and departed on June 5, 1895. The file contains a student information card, a returned student survey, and correspondence. The file indicates Houk later married former student Maggie Abbott, and was a railroad conductor for the Great Northern Railroad in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada from 1910 to 1912.

Note: In this file the student is identified as Pressly Houk, Presly Houk, Presley Houk, Presley Houch, Presly Houck, and G. P. Houk.

The file indicates that Brewer was married, had two sons, and was raising stock and living in Porcupine, South Dakota in 1910.

Note: Rachel Brewer and William Brewer were siblings.

The file contains trade/position record card, a student information card, a returned student survey, former student response postcards, a letter/correspondence and a report after leaving indicating that Brown was a rural route carrier in Wheaton, Minnesota in 1913.
