Eva Jones Student File

Student file of Eva Jones, a member or the Seneca Nation, who entered the school on September 2, 1906 and ultimately departed on September 4, 1917. The student did not attend the school continuously, but left and reentered. The file includes outing records, outing evaluation, medical/physical records, correspondence, returned student surveys, student information cards, application for enrollments, a report after leaving, financial transactions, a federal financial aid form, and certificates of promotion. The file indicates that Jones graduated from the school in nursing, worked as a nurse assistant at the school's hospital for two years, and later studied at the German Hospital in Brooklyn, New York.

Nancy Conners Student File

Student file of Nancy Conners (also referred to as Nancy Connor), a member of the St. Regis Nation, who entered the school on September 12, 1906 and departed on June 19, 1911. The file contains a student information card, an application for enrollment, an outing record, an outing evaluation, and a progress/conduct card.

Helen Welch Student File

Student file of Helen Welch, a member of the Stockbridge Nation, who entered the school on September 1, 1908 and ultimately departed on June 6, 1916. The student did not attend the school continuously, but left and reentered. The file contains a student information card, a progress/conduct card, outing records, outing evaluations, a former student response postcard, an application for enrollment, financial transactions, a report after leaving, and correspondence. The file indicates that Welch was living in Chilton, Washington in 1916.

Note: At the time of scanning at the U.S. National Archives, several documents in this student file seemed to relate to a different student, Lupie Spira. Those documents have now been included with the Lupie Spira file: NARA_RG 75_Series 1327_box 105_folder 4489.

Olivan Arch Student File

Student file of Olivan Arch, a member of the Eastern Band of Cherokee, who entered the school on December 2, 1911 and ultimately departed on December 4, 1916. The student did not attend the school continuously, but left and reentered. The files contains student information cards, an application for enrollment, correspondence, medical/physical records, a federal financial aid form, financial transactions, progress/conduct cards, outing evaluations, a report after leaving, and outing records. The file indicates Arch left Carlisle to return to North Carolina in order to care for her brother, Ross Arch.

Note: This student is identified as both Olivan Arch and Olive Arch.

Note: Students Jennie Arch, Johnson Arch, Olivan Arch, and Ross Arch were siblings.

Lucinda Reed Student File

Student file of Lucinda Reed, a member of the Eastern Band of Cherokee, who entered the school on March 18, 1913 and departed on January 28, 1915. The file contains student information cards, medical/physical records, financial transactions, and correspondence.

Most of the correspondence focuses on Lucinda's pregnancy following one of her outings and her return home.

Note: In this file the student is identified as Lucinda Reed and Cindy Reed.
