Levi Levering Student File

Student file of Levi Levering, a member of the Omaha Nation, who entered the school on August 19, 1882, graduated in 1890, and ultimately departed on July 2, 1891. The student did not attend the school continuously, but left and reentered. The file indicates Levering attended Bellevue College in Nebraska, was a teacher in the Indian Service for ten years, an Indian trader in Macy, Nebraska in 1907 and 1910, and the Superintendent of the Muyaka Boarding School in Beggs, Oklahoma in 1912.
