Culgaluski Standingdeer Student File

The student did not attend the school continuously, but left and reentered. The file contains student information cards, former student response postcards, a returned student survey, letters/correspondence, and a report after leaving. The file indicates Standingdeer was a farmer in Cherokee, North Carolina in 1913 and a member of the 1st North Carolina Band stationed at Camp Stewart in El Paso, Texas in 1917.

Note: in this file the student is identified as Culgaluski Standingdeer and Carl W. Standingdeer.

Note: The file indicates that this student was referred to by her married name around 1913: Mrs. Alonzo Brown or Frances Brown. She had married fellow student Alonzo Brown.

Note: These documents were found filed at the U.S. National Archives in the same folder as documents related to Frank Johnson as well as Frances Johnson who was at the school from 1894 to 1896.
