Application of Joseph Tarbell, a member of the St. Regis Nation. The application for enrollment, dated August 1906, includes a note at the top suggesting that Joseph Tarbell never used the assigned train ticket to travel to Carlisle. No record of Joseph Tarbell has been found among admissions ledgers, administrative reports, or student newspapers, so it appears that he never enrolled at Carlisle.

Note: These documents were found filed at the U.S. National Archives in the same folder and documents related to another Joseph Tarbell.
