Katie Wolfe Student File

Student file of Katie Wolfe, member of the Cherokee Nation, who entered the school on June 20, 1901 and ultimately departed on May 28, 1911. The student did not attend the school continuously, but left and reentered. The file contains a report after leaving, an outing record, a progress/conduct card, an application for enrollment, outing evaluations, a medical/physical record, student information cards, correspondence, a returned student survey, and a newspaper clipping. The file indicates that Wolfe was a business pupil in Carlisle, Pennsylvania in 1910 and a seamstress at the Cherokee Boarding School in North Carolina and did housework in Arkansas City, Kansas in 1913.

Minnie White Student Information Card

Student information card of Minnie White, a member of the St. Regis Nation, who entered the school on November 1, 1901 and ultimately departed on June 19, 1911.

Note: Although this card indicates that White reentered the school on September 26, 1906, other records show that she had first enrolled at Carlisle on November 1, 1901.

Inez Brown Student File

Student file of Inez Brown, member of the Sioux Nation, who entered the school on August 21, 1905, graduated in 1910, and ultimately departed on September 3, 1912. The student did not attend the school continuously, but left and reentered. The file contains applications for enrollment, student information cards, an outing evaluation, medical/physical records, a progress/conduct card, correspondence, and a report after leaving which indicates that Inez Brown was appointed the position of financial clerk at the Jicarilla Agency in New Mexico in 1912.
