Cecelia Wheelock Student File

Student file of Cecelia Wheelock, a member of the Oneida Nation who entered the school on March 23, 1888 and departed on January 16, 1893. The file contains a student information card, a returned student survey, a trade/position record card, and a report after leaving indicating Wheelock was working as a housekeeper in Oneida, Wisconsin in 1910.

Ida Swallow Student File

Student file of Ida Swallow, a member of the Sioux Nation, who entered the school on August 28, 1895, graduated in 1901, and departed on June 30, 1902. The file contains a student information card, returned student surveys, a former student response postcard, a news clipping, letters/correspondence, and a report after leaving.

The file indicates that Swallow graduated from the Drexel Institute in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1902, was an assistant clerk at the Carlisle Indian School in Carlisle, Pennyslvania from 1902 to 1905, was a bookkeeper, clerk and store manager in Oelrichs, South Dakota in 1907, and living in Harviell, Missouri in 1915.

Rose DuVernay Student File

Student file of Rose DuVernay, a member of the Ottawa Nation, who entered the school on August 14, 1896, graduated in 1899, and departed on October 4, 1899. The file contains a student information card, a former student response postcard, a returned student survey, and a report after leaving indicating that in 1913 Duvernay had married James R. Tolley, and was living in Phoenix, Arizona.

Edith Bartlett Student Information Cards

Student information cards of Edith Bartlett, a member of the Bannock Nation, who entered the school on August 13, 1897, graduated in 1905, and ultimately departed on September 3, 1907. The file indicates Bartlett was living in Crowcreek, South Dakota in 1907. The file indicates Bartlett attended the Bloomsburg State Normal School from 1905 to 1907 on the outing program.

Note: Students Edith Bartlett, Eunice Bartlett, Georgiana Bartlett, Ida Estelle Bartlett, and Nelson Bartlett were siblings.

Note: Bartlett married fellow student Titus Whitecrow.
