Herman Niles Student File

Student file of Herman Niles, a member of the Stockbridge Nation, who entered the school on January 6, 1897, graduated in 1901, and departed on September 4, 1901. The file contains a student information card, a returned student survey, letters/correspondence, and a report after leaving. The file indicates Niles was a farmer in Brothertown, Wisconsin in 1907 and was a volunteer in the 4th Co. 119th Machine Gun Battalion 32nd Division stationed at Camp MacArthur in Waco, Texas in 1917.

Helen Welch Student File

The student did not attend the school continuously, but left and reentered. The file contains a student information card, a progress/conduct card, outing records, outing evaluations, a former student response postcard, an application for enrollment, financial transactions, a report after leaving, and correspondence. The file indicates that Welch was living in Chilton, Washington in 1916.

Note: At the time of scanning at the U.S. National Archives, several documents in this student file seemed to relate to a different student, Lupie Spira. Those documents have now been included with the Lupie Spira file: NARA_RG 75_Series 1327_box 105_folder 4489.
