Student file of Moses Herring, a member of the Mohawk Nation, who entered the school on August 30, 1899 and ultimately departed on January 24, 1904 The student did not attend the school continuously, but left and reentered. The file contains student information cards that indicate that Herring went on three outings while at Carlisle.

The student did not attend the school continuously but left and reentered. The file contains student information cards, an application for enrollment, a medical/physical record, a progress/conduct card, trade/position record cards, an outing record, a news clipping, a returned student survey, letters/correspondence, and a report after leaving. The file indicates Pierce was a farmer in Iroquois, New York in 1911.

Note: In the file the student is referred to as Mitchel Pierce and Mitchell Pierce.

Albert Jackson Student Information Card

Student information card of Albert Jackson, a member of the Seneca Nation, who entered the school on June 29, 1900 and departed on September 6, 1905.

Note: Jackson subsequently returned to the school on October 14, 1905 and died there on December 7, 1906. He was buried in the cemetery on the school grounds.

Student File of Joseph Simpson, a member of the Alaskan (Tsimshian) nation, who entered the school on October 24, 1903 and departed on June 26, 1908. The file contains student information cards, a report after leaving, and a returned student survey. The file indicates Simpson attended the Chemawa Training School in Chemawa, Oregon in 1909 and 1910.

Chiltoski Tramper Student File

Student file of Chiltoski Tramper, a member of the Cherokee Nation, who entered the school on December 22, 1904 and departed on June 27, 1910. The file indicates Tramper worked as a farm hand in Newtown, Pennsylvania in 1910 and was living in Cherokee, North Carolina in 1916.

Note: in this file the student is identified as Chittoski Tramper, Tossie Tramper and Chiltoski Tramper.

The file indicates Cornelius was living in West De Pere, Wisconsin in 1913.

David Bird Student File

Student file of David Bird, a member of the Cherokee Nation, who entered the school on October 8, 1905 and ultimately departed on April 15, 1917. The student did not attend the school continuously, but left and reentered. The file contains student information cards, a returned student survey, applications for enrollment, medical/physical records, an outing evaluation, a progress/conduct card, a report after leaving, an outing record, financial transactions including credit from the Athletic Association to local merchants, and correspondence. The file indicates Bird was on the football team and was transferring to the Charlotte, North Carolina branch of the Ford Motor Company in 1917.

The student did not attend the school continuously, but left and reentered. The file contains student information cards, a medical/physical record, a certificate of promotion, financial transactions, progress/conduct cards, an outing record, letters/correspondence, outing evaluations, and an application for enrollment. The file indicates that Mitchell worked for the Ford Motor Co. in 1917 and 1918 on the outing program, completed the Ford training course in 1918, and was called for service in the U.S. Army in 1918.
