Clarence R. Ross Student File

The file indicates Ross was living in Anadarko, Oklahoma in 1913.

Note: At the time of scanning at the U.S. National Archives, several documents in this student file seemed to relate to two different students, Willis Jackson and James Shemamy. Charles Williams Student File

Student file of Charles Williams, a member of the Caddo Nation, who entered the school on September 13, 1908 and departed on June 16, 1913. The file contains a student information card, a trade/position record card, a progress/conduct card, outing evaluations, financial transactions, an outing record, an application for enrollment, a medical/physical record, and correspondence. The file indicates Williams played football while attending Carlisle and attended the Haskell Institute at Lawrence, Kansas in 1914 and 1915.

James Shemamy Student File

Student file of James Shemamy, a member of the Caddo Nation, who entered the school on September 13, 1908 and ultimately departed on September 30, 1914. The student did not attend the school continuously, but left and reentered. The file contains student information cards, applications for enrollment, trade/position record cards, a medical/physical record, outing records, an outing evaluation, a progress/conduct card, a returned student survey, financial transactions, and letters/correspondence.

The file indicates Shemamy worked for E. A. Lane and Son in Carlisle Pennsylvania on the outing program in 1912, was living in Binger, Oklahoma in 1914 and 1915, and was an enlisted member of the United States Army 343rd Machine Gun Battalion, 90th Division, stationed at Camp Travis, Texas in 1917.

Note: In this file the student is referred to by the given names James and Jimmie, and the given names Shemamy, Shemayme, Schemayme, and Shemaymee.

Ray Komah Student File

Student file of Ray Komah, a member of the Comanche Nation, who entered the school on September 28, 1911 and departed on April 29, 1916. The file contains a student information card, a report after leaving, medical/physical records, financial transactions, and letters/correspondence. The file indicates Komah attended the Millersville State Normal School in Millersville, Pennsylvania in 1915 and was living in Phoenix, Arizona in 1916.

Note: In this file the student is also identified as Ray Esadooah Komah, Ray Esadooah, Perry Ray Komah, and Pah-to-see.
