Student file of Lewis Nash, a member of the Winnebago Nation, who entered the school on September 13, 1899, and ultimately departed on November 4, 1907. The student did not attend the school continuously, but left and reentered. The file contains student information cards, a newspaper clipping, a position record card, an application for enrollment, letters and correspondence, a returned student survey, former student response postcards, and a report after leaving indicating Nash was working as a farmer in Thurston, Nebraska in 1910 before moving to Red Oak, Iowa in 1913 to be an automobile mechanic. 

Note: This student is referred to as both Lewis and Louis in his documentation.

Enrique Urrutia Student File

Student file of Enrique Urrutia, a student from Puerto Rico, who entered the school on April 23, 1901 and departed on April 15, 1905. The file contains a student information card, news clippings, correspondence, former student response postcards, a report after leaving, and a returned student survey. The file indicates Urrutia returned to Puerto Rico after leaving Carlisle where he began working for the U.S. Navy and was a Second Lieutenant in the Puerto Rico Regiment of the U.S. Infantry, U.S. Army stationed in San Juan, Puerto Rico in 1915.

The file indicates that after leaving the school he re-enrolled at Carlisle in order to take a student course with the Ford Motor Company in 1917.

Note: In the file the student is identified as both Louis D. White and Lewis D. White.

A note in the file says he re-enrolled on January 7, 1915 but no final departure date is given. Note: the student in this file is identified as Thomas Knocks-off-two, Thomas Knocks, Thomas Famous Thunder, and Thomas Knox.

The student did not attend the school continuously, but left and reentered. The file contains student information cards, financial transactions, correspondence, medical/physical records, outing records, a progress/conduct card, outing evaluations, a news clipping, a federal financial aid form, a report after leaving, and an application for enrollment.

The file indicates Welch was working on a farm in Spooner, Wisconsin and was a student at the State Agriculture College (University of Wisconsin) in Madison, Wisconsin in 1915, was a bugler in Co. D 6th Wisconsin Infantry at Camp Douglas, Wisconsin 1917, was a member of the 107 2nd Co. Mounted Military Police at Camp McArthur in Waco, Texas in 1917, and ultimately served in France during World War I.
