Thomas Green Student File

Fred Doxtater Student File

Student file of Fred Doxtater, a member of the Oneida Nation, who entered the school on September 8, 1900 and departed on June 2, 1906. The file contains a student information card, a returned student survey, a former student response postcard, and a report after leaving. The file indicates Doxtater was working as a long line teamster in Santa Ana, California in 1910 and a farmer and rancher in Santa Ana, California in 1913.

Joseph Mills Student File

Student file of Joseph Mills, a member of the Osage Nation, who entered the school on September 16, 1900, and ultimately departed on July 6, 1907. The student did not attend the school continuously, but left and reentered. The file contains student information cards, a newspaper clipping, a returned student survey, an application for enrollment, a trade/position record card, and a report after leaving. The file indicates that Mills was traveling a theatrical company with the Kennedy Stock Co. and living in Pawhuska, Oklahoma in 1910.

Burt Wright Student File

Student file of Burt Wright (or Burd), a member of the Arikara Nation, who entered the school on November 3, 1901, and departed on August 3, 1905.  The file contains a student information card, an application for enrollment, correspondence between Wright and the school, and a report after leaving that indicates that he served as a farmer in Elbowood, North Dakota, in 1910.

Joseph Ross Student File

Student file of Joseph Ross, a member of the Pueblo Nation, who entered the school on October 23, 1904 and ultimately departed on June 11, 1911. The student did not attend the school continuously, but left and reentered. The file contains a photograph, student information cards, progress/conduct cards, an application for enrollment, medical/physical records, a returned student survey, correspondence, a former student response postcard, an outing record, a trade/position record card, and a report after leaving.

The file indicates that Ross went to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania with the band in 1908, on two outings with the Battlefield Photo Co. in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania in 1910. After departing the school, Ross was a rancher in Seama, New Mexico in 1912 and 1913 as well as a machinist helper in 1912 with the Santa Fe Railroad Co. and was living in Gallup, New Mexico in 1916.

Note: Ross married fellow student Lettie Chase.
