Louisa King Student File

Student file of Louisa King, a member of the Oneida Nation, who entered the school on September 17, 1892 and departed on March 20, 1895. Other records show that King first enrolled on June 22, 1888. The card in this file reflects her re-enrollment.

Note: In this file the student's name appears both as Louisa King and Louise King.

Note: At the time of scanning at the U.S. National Archives, a document in this student file seemed to related to a different student, Lillian King. That document has now been included with the Lillian King file: NARA_RG 75_Series 1327_box 34_folder 1615.

George King (Ernest Redeye) Student File

Student file of George King, a member of the Seneca Nation, who entered the school on March 31, 1909 and ultimately departed on November 7, 1913. The student did not attend the school continuously, but left and reentered. The file contains letters/correspondence, applications for enrollment, an outing record, an outing evaluation, a progress/conduct card, and student information cards. The file indicates King was living in Irving, New York in 1914.

Note: The student in this file is apparently was first enrolled under the name George King, and later re-enrolled as Ernest Redeye. He is sometimes also identified as Ernest King, George Ernest King, and George Ernest Redeye.

The file indicates that King was living in Buffalo, New York in 1918 and had enrolled in music classes and was intending to enroll in a business school.
