Agnes Cabay Student File

Student file of Agnes Cabay, a member of the Chippewa Nation, who entered the school on October 8, 1904 and ultimately departed on February 8, 1911. The student did not attend the school continuously, but left and reentered. The file contains correspondence, financial transactions, an outing evaluation, news clippings, a trade/position record card, a returned student survey, medical/physical records, applications for enrollment, student information cards, progress/conduct cards, a report after leaving, and an outing record. The file indicates that Cabay was the Boy's Assistant Matron at the Mt. Pleasant Indian School in 1911 until she left in 1912 and was living in Bay City, Michigan in 1914.

Evelyn Pierce Student File

Student file of Evelyn Pierce, who entered the school on July 1, 1905, graduated in 1910, and ultimately departed on January 3, 1912. The student did not attend the school continuously, but left and reentered. The file contains a trade/position record card, student information cards, medical/physical records, outing evaluations, applications for enrollment, newspaper clippings, an outing record, a progress/conduct card, financial transactions, a report after leaving, and correspondence. The file indicates Pierce was attended the West Chester Normal School in West Chester, Pennsylvania in 1910, was enrolled at the Haskell Institute in Lawrence, Kansas in 1913, and was then appointed assistant clerk at the institute in 1914.

The file contains a student information card, medical/physical records, correspondence, news clippings, an application for enrollment, a progress/conduct card, a trade/position record card, an outing record, a report after leaving, and a returned student survey from 1911 that indicates she is working as a dress maker in Tunesassa, New York.

Rose Whipper Student File

Student file of Rose Whipper, a member of the Sioux Nation, who entered the school on October 20, 1906 and ultimately departed on May 11, 1914. The file contains an application for enrollment, student information cards, outing evaluations, a progress/conduct card, outing records, financial transactions, a returned student survey, and correspondence. The file indicates that Whipper attended the YMCA convention in Williamsport, Pennsylvania in 1914, and was a student at Dakota Wesleyan University in Mitchell, South Dakota in 1914. By 1917, Whipper was a seamstress in the Browning School in Browning, Montana.

Mabel Little Star Student File

The file contains a student information cards, a medical/physical record, a progress/conduct card, a trade/position record card, an application for enrollment, returned student surveys, outing evaluations, an outing record, a report after leaving, and former student response postcards indicating that Little Star was living in Elbowoods, North Dakota in 1914.

Note: In this file the student is identified as Mabel Little Star, Mabel L. Starr, and Mabel Star.
