The file indicates Degan was a student at the North Dakota State Science School in 1914.

Note: The student is referred to as Louise and Louisa.

The student re-entered the school on October 23, 1915, but no final departure date is indicated. The file contains student information cards, an outing record, physical records, applications for enrollment, financial transactions, outing evaluations, certificates of promotion, a conduct card, and correspondence.

Note: One of the documents in Mary Frances Cornelius' file was originally found in the folder for another student: Mary Cornelius, NARA_RG 75_Series 1327_box 13_folder 625.

Nellie Brown Student File

Student file of Nellie Brown, a member of the Creek Nation, who entered the school on September 3, 1913 and ultimately departed on October 10, 1916. The student did not attend the school continuously, but left and reentered. The file contains a medical/physical record, student information cards, an application for enrollment, financial transactions, a news clipping, an outing evaluation, an outing record, and correspondence. The file indicates Brown attended Cottey College in Nevada, Missouri and was married and living in Sapulpa, Oklahoma in 1917.

Note: The student is also referred to as Nellie Beatrice Brown in the file.

Nettie Standingbear Student File

A note in the file says she re-enrolled on September 23, 1916, but no final departure date is given. The file indicates Standingbear was living in Toledo, Iowa in 1918.
