The file contains student information cards, an application for enrollment, medical/physical records, a returned student survey, trade/position record cards, a progress/conduct card from Dickinson College Preparatory School (Conway Hall), an outing record, financial transactions, and letters/correspondence. The file indicates King was living in Peever, South Dakota in 1915 and was preparing to read law at the office of Lewis W. Bicknell in Webster, South Dakota in 1917.
