Kenneth King Student File

Student file of Kenneth King, a member of the Sioux Nation, who entered the school on August 20, 1910, graduated in 1915, and ultimately departed on June 27, 1915. The student did not attend the school continuously, but left and reentered. The file contains student information cards, an application for enrollment, medical/physical records, a returned student survey, trade/position record cards, a progress/conduct card from Dickinson College Preparatory School (Conway Hall), an outing record, financial transactions, and letters/correspondence. The file indicates King was living in Peever, South Dakota in 1915 and was preparing to read law at the office of Lewis W. Bicknell in Webster, South Dakota in 1917.

Note: At the time of scanning at the U.S. National Archives, a document in this student file seemed to relate to a different student, Ovilla Azure. That document has now been included with the Ovilla Azure file: NARA_RG 75_Series 1327_box 142_folder 5581.
