The file also indicates that Baird worked as an assistant printer at the Carlisle Indian School in Carlisle, Pennsylvania from 1902 to 1905, and as a faculty member at the Pipestone Indian Service in Minnesota in 1909, and was living in Chin Lee, Arizona in 1915.
