Long Face, Rose

Student information card of Rose (Red Rose), a member of the Sioux Nation, who entered the school on October 6, 1879 and died on April 29, 1881. Rose was buried in the cemetery on the school grounds.

Long Face requests the money that was appropriated to educate his two daughters Rose and Mary who were unable to fulfill their three year terms due to ill health and subsequently death.
