Report on the Health of 11 New Pueblo Students
August 4, 1880

J. S. Bender informs Richard Henry Pratt that he has completed his examination of the 11 new Pueblo students and found 9 of them to be healthy. Bender notes that two students have several problematic symptoms, and states that he's been informed by Sheldon Jackson that these students have had pneumonia. Pratt forwards Bender's letter to the Commissioner of Indian Affairs.
