Richard Henry Pratt requests assistance from W. N. Hailmann to arrange with the Commissioner of Indian Affairs to have William P. Campbell bring a group of children to the Carlisle Indian School.

Richard Henry Pratt informs the Office of Indian Affairs that M. L. Silcott has reported for duty as a teacher at the Carlisle Indian School from the Crow Creek Agency.

Richard Henry Pratt responds to a request from Thunder Bull to return his son Shield Thunder Bull.

Richard Henry Pratt informs W. N. Hailmann that he will be in Washington D.C. several days where he can meet Mrs. Butler and talk with him about her appointment.

Peter Oscar writes to Richard Henry Pratt and provides him an explanation on why he ran away from the Carlisle Indian School as well as an update on where he is currently residing. Oscar notes that he is willing to return to Carlisle if Pratt wants him to return.

Richard Henry Pratt forwards clerk Anna S. Luckenbach's application for an 8-day annual leave of absence. 

Richard Henry Pratt responds to an Office of Indian Affairs letter apprarently asking if any of the current Carlisle School band members would be suitable as a band leader elsewhere. Estimate of funds for the third quarter of 1895 amounting to $21,739.65 for support of the school and regular employee pay. 

Richard H. Pratt submits an Estimate of Supplies for the third quarter of fiscal year 1895 amounting to $499.65 and requests to purchase those items in the open market. The form includes the items being requested, the quantity, the estimated cost, and how the item will be used at the school.

Carlos Montezuma, the school physician, compiles the monthly sanitary report for January 1895. Montezuma also includes a short note about the cases in the "Remarks and Physician's Special Report" section.

Richard Henry Pratt requests an additional $3000 for transportation students to and from their homes.

Peter Oscar requests a railroad ticket from Buffalo to Carlisle from Richard Henry Pratt. Oscar notes that he will pay his own way to Buffalo and then reimburse Pratt for the Buffalo ticket.

Richard Henry Pratt forwards voucher for expenses incurred in the treatment of Albert Mulligan.

Richard Henry Pratt responds to the report of Supervisor Moss on the Absentee Shawnee School by providing a historical sketch of the Shawnee Nation and their poor treatment by the U.S. Government.

J. W. Dolan calls on the Office of Indian Affairs to remove Richard Henry Pratt from his position as Superintendent of the Carlisle Indian School.

Richard Henry Pratt forwards a letter from H. B. Peairs, Acting Superintendent of the Haskell Institute, informing him that Sarah Whitedeer no longer consents to the transfer to Carlisle. Pratt requests that W. N. Hailmann order the transfer anyway due to prior instances of Haskell ordering Carlisle students to be transferred.

Richard H. Pratt forwards duplicate Estimate of School Books and Supplies for the fiscal year ending June 1896 amounting to $250.59. The form includes the items being requested, the quantity, the estimated cost, and how the item will be used at the school.

Captain Richard H. Pratt submits a report that lists irregular employees who worked at the school during January 1895. The report includes details on compensation, position titles, race, and the number of days worked during that month.

Richard Henry Pratt informs W. N. Hailmann that he is satisfied with Ella Watts and is willing to have her transferred to Carlisle as an assistant teacher.

Richard Henry Pratt informs W. N. Hailmann that Miss Johnson is willing to take the kindergarten training in Philadelphia offered in a previous letter.

Note: There were no teachers at the school named Johnson, and none named Johnston employed at this time. It is not clear who this letter refers to. 

Richard Henry Pratt certifies various matters regarding the staff of the music and band departments at the Carlisle Indian School.

S. S. Burleson requests the return of Purcell Powlas at the request of his parents from the Carlisle Indian School.

These materials include a descriptive statement of pupils for one individual, Albert Nash Jr., sent to the Carlisle Indian School from the Winnebago Agency of Nebraska.

Hoke Smith, Secretary of the Interior, denies the request of Richard Henry Pratt for an increase in transportation budget and requests additional requests include statements on the need for the funds.
