The file indicates that Harris worked at the Jefferson Hospital Training School for Nurses in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania from 1902 to 1905, graduated from that program, and subsequently worked as a nurse for six months after in the Municipal Hospital for Contagious Diseases in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1907.

The file indicates that Nash was a student in the Haskell Institute in Lawrence, Kansas business course from 1906 and graduated from there in 1908, successfully passed the civil service exam for clerk and stenographer and typewriter in 1908, and was living in Crow Agency, Montana in 1915.

Note: This student is known as both Pelagie Nash and Piliga Nash.
