The file indicates King was living in Peever, South Dakota in 1915 and was preparing to read law at the office of Lewis W. Bicknell in Webster, South Dakota in 1917.

Note: At the time of scanning at the U.S. National Archives, a document in this student file seemed to relate to a different student, Ovilla Azure. That document has now been included with the Ovilla Azure file: NARA_RG 75_Series 1327_box 142_folder 5581.
