Student file of Joseph Tarbell, a member of the St. Regis Nation, who applied to enter the school in August of 1906. The file contains an application for admission, but a note at the top of the application suggests that the student never used the assigned ticket to travel to Carlisle, and there does not appear to be any other record of this Joseph Tarbell enrolling.

Note: This student is also known as Michael Arquette in other documentation. 

Note: Another student, also named Mitchell Arquette, entered on October 30, 1906. Documentation relating to Michael/Mitchell Arquette was wrongly placed in the other student's file (2009), and needs to be moved to this file.

Note: These documents were found in two separate folders at the U.S. National Archives: RG 75_Series 1327_box 41_folder 2014 and RG 75_Series 1327_box 133_folder 5229.

Note: Students Louis Bero and Peter Bero were probably brothers.
