Hallie Skye Student File

Student file of Hallie Skye, a member of the Seneca Nation, who entered the school on October 23, 1903 and ultimately departed on June 11, 1911. The student did not attend the school continuously, but left and reentered. The file contains student information cards, outing evaluations, an outing record, a progress/conduct card, letters/correspondence, a returned student survey, medical/physical records, an application for enrollment, and a report after leaving indicating Skye was living in Buffalo, New York in 1912.

Note: in this file the student is identified as Hallie Skye and Hallie Sky.

Elizabeth Bellanger Student File

Student file of Elizabeth Bellanger, a member of the Chippewa Nation, who entered the school on August 9, 1910, and departed on June 11, 1913. The file contains a student information card, medical/physical records, returned student survey, application for enrollment, outing evaluations, a trade/position record card, outing records, correspondence related to several financial transactions, progress/conduct card, and a former student response postcard that indicates Bellanger was keeping house for her father in Beaulieu, Minnesota in 1914.

Note: In this file the student is identified as Lizzie Bellanger and Elizabeth Bellanger.

Note: Students Alice Bellanger, Elizabeth Bellanger, and Margaret Bellanger were sisters.

Eva Flood Student File

Student file of Eva Flood, a member of the Sioux Nation, who entered the school on September 16, 1910 and departed on March 22, 1913. The file contains an industrial certificate in laundering, an application for enrollment, a medical/physical record, a former student response postcard, outing evaluations, an outing record, correspondence, a progress/conduct card, a student information card, and a report after leaving indicating that she was a housewife in Rosebud, South Dakota in 1914.

Note: Upon leaving the school Eva Flood was addressed as Mrs. Ben Stead.

Alice Janis Student File

Student file of Alice Janis, a member of the Sioux Nation, who entered the school on September 17, 1911 and departed on June 4, 1914. The file contains a student information card, applications for enrollment, a progress/conduct card, a medical/physical record, an outing evaluation, and letters/correspondence. The file indicates that Janis was living in Oelrichs, South Dakota in 1914.

Clara Shunion Student File

Student file of Clara Shunion, a member of the Menominee Nation, who entered the school on September 21, 1911 and departed on October 3, 1916. A note in the file says she re-enrolled on November 24, 1916 but no final departure date is given. The file contains student information cards, an application for enrollment, medical/physical records, outing evaluations, outing records, financial transactions, a progress/conduct card, a photograph, a certificate of promotion, and letters/correspondence.  Her file indicates that, on the death of her sister, Clara took responsibility for her sister's children and estate in Wisconsin.

The file contains a student information card, an application for enrollment, letters/correspondence, outing evaluations, financial transactions, an outing record, and a returned student survey.

Gertrude E. Pego Student Information Cards

Student information cards of Gertrude E. Pego, a member of the Ottawa Nation, who entered the school on September 19, 1913 and graduated in 1918. The file indicates Pego transferred to the Haskell Institute in Lawrence, Kansas upon the closure of the Carlisle Indian School.

Annie Oneroad Student File

Student file of Annie Oneroad, a member of the Sioux Nation, who entered the school on October 1, 1913, and departed on June 6, 1916. The file contains student information cards, an application for enrollment, financial transactions, an outing record, and letters/correspondence. The file indicates Oneroad was living in Sisseton, South Dakota in 1917.

Note: The student is also referred to as Anna One Road in the file.
