The file indicates Penoi attended the Carlisle Commercial College, was an assistant clerk in Anadarko, Oklahoma in 1907, and a clerk at the Kiowa Agency in Anadarko, Oklahoma in 1912.

Frank Hudson Student File

Student file of Frank Hudson, a member of the Pueblo Nation, who entered the school on October 3, 1886, graduated in 1896, and departed on March 31, 1897. The file contains news clippings, a trade/position record card, a student information card, financial transactions, and letters/correspondence. The file indicates Hudson was a quarterback and kicker on the Carlisle football team as well as being a captain on the basketball and baseball teams, a financial clerk at the Carlisle Indian School in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, was farming on shares in Wycombe, Pennsylvania in 1911, and was in the advertising business in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1917.

The student did not attend the school continuously, but left and reentered. The file indicates Cornelius graduated from the Drexel Institute in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1897, was an assistant teacher at Cass Lake, Minnesota in 1907 and a housewife in Cass Lake, Minnesota in 1909, 1911, and 1913.

Note: This file originally contained the student information card for another student; Delila Cornelius. The card has since been moved to the correct file; NARA_1327_RG 75_Series 1327_box 44_folder 2167.

The file indicates Adams attended the Haskell Institute in Lawrence, Kansas in 1896 and 1897, worked as an agency carpenter in Keshena, Wisconsin in 1909, and as a general mechanic in Keshena, Wisconsin in 1915.

The file contains student information cards, a returned student survey and a report after leaving indicating that Hill was a farmer in West De Pere, Wisconsin in 1907 and 1911.

Note: In the file the student is identified as both Herman Nicodemus Hill and Nicodemus Herman Hill.

James R. Wheelock Student File

Student file of James R. Wheelock, a member of the Oneida Nation, who entered the school on August 30, 1889 and ultimately departed on June 30, 1897. The student did not attend the school continuously, but left and reentered. The file contains student information cards, financial transactions, a photograph, returned student survey, news clippings, a report after leaving, and letters/correspondence. The file indicates Wheelock was the bandmaster and assistant printer at the Carlisle Indian School for five years, was the proprietor and conductor of Wheelock's Concert Band in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania from 1907 to 1910, and the conductor of the Hagerstown Municipal Band in Hagerstown, Maryland in 1917.

Note: Although this card indicates that Susie is a member of the Chippewa Nation, the entry in the admissions ledger shows her to be a member of the Ottawa nation, entering on October 25, 1890. The ledger shows her departing on April 13, 1896.
