Alice Wynn (Brave Killer) Student File

Student file of Alice Wynn, a member of the Sioux Nation, who entered the school on October 6, 1879 and ultimately departed on June 14, 1887. The file contains student information cards and a report after leaving indicating she was a housekeeper in Pine Ridge, South Dakota in 1910.

Raymond Stewart Student File

Student file of Raymond Stewart, a member of the Sioux Nation, who entered the school on October 6, 1879, and ultimately departed on July 8, 1889. The student did not attend the school continuously, but left and reentered. The file contains student information cards, photographs, letters/correspondence related to the American Indian Association and Stewart's reflection on his time at Carlisle, a returned student survey, and a report after leaving. The file indicates Stewart was a painter in Rosebud, South Dakota in 1910 and living in Rosebud, South Dakota in 1912.

Note: In this file the student is identified as both Raymond White Bull and Raymond Stewart.

Note: It is likely that Stewart married fellow student Amy Crowdog.
