Malcolm Clark (Ah-nah-mak-ka) Student File

Student file of Malcolm Clark (Ah-nah-mak-ka), a member of the Piegan Nation, who entered the school on January 4, 1890, graduated in 1893, and ultimately departed on June 6, 1894. The student did not attend the school continuously, but left and reentered. The file contains student information cards, returned student surveys, a former student response postcard, letters/correspondence, a financial transaction, and a report after leaving. The file indicates Clark attended the Dickinson College Preparatory School (Conway Hall) in 1894, graduated from the Valparaiso Business College in Valparaiso, Indiana, was cattle raising in Browning, Montana in 1907, and ranching in Browning, Montana in 1909 and 1913.

Henry Moncravie Student File

Student file of Henry Moncravie, a member of the Omaha Nation, who entered the school on January 9, 1890, and departed on January 28, 1891. The file contains a student information card and a report after leaving that indicates Moncraivie was working as a farmer as well as "stock grower" in Salt Creek, Oklahoma in 1910.

Note: In this file the student is identified as Henry Moncravie and Henry Moncrary.

Nellie Barada Student File

Student file of Nellie Barada, a member of the Omaha Nation, who entered the school on January 9, 1890, and departed on April 28, 1896. The file contains a student information card, a report after leaving, and two returned student surveys one written by her husband Frank Mott, a former Carlisle student. The returned student surveys indicate she was married and living in Plainview, South Dakota in 1910.

Note: In this file the student writes back to the school using her married name Nellie B. Mott. The Student's name appears as Nellie Barada, Nellie Baraday, and Nellie Barady.

Ella Rickert Student File

Student file of Ella Rickert, a member of the Arikara Nation, who entered the school on February 23, 1890 and ultimately departed on April 8, 1897. The student did not attend the school continuously, but left and reentered. The file contains student information cards, former student response postcards, correspondence, a report after leaving, and a returned student survey indicating that she worked as assistant nurse at Carlisle for two years after reentering the school.  Rickert later married David J. Ripley and was a housewife in Elbowoods, North Dakota in 1913.

Note: In this file the student is identified as Ella Rickert and Ella Richert.
