Sowcea Kinery Student File

Student file of Hugh Soucea (Sow-i-cea), a member of the Queres Nation, who entered the school on October 4, 1885, graduated in 1894, and departed on June 26, 1894. The file contains a student information card, a trade/position record card, former student response postcards, returned student surveys, a report after leaving, and letters/correspondence. The file indicates Soucea attended the Normal Department at the U.S. Industrial School in Santa Fe, New Mexico from 1894 and 1897, was a carpenter in Montclair, Colorado in 1907, a carpenter in Denver, Colorado in 1909, and was a carpenter in Shiprock, New Mexico in 1912 and 1913.

Frank Campeau Student File

Student file of Frank Campeau, a member of the Chippewa Nation, who entered the school on August 8, 1889 and ultimately departed on March 29, 1900. The student did not attend the school continuously, but left and reentered. The file contains student information cards.

Note: Studetns Edward Campeau and Frank Campeau were probably brothers.

The file contains a student information card, letters/correspondence, a newspaper clipping, former student response postcards, a trade/position record card, a returned student survey, and a report after leaving indicating that Morrison was working as an agency farmer in Keshena, Wisconsin from 1913 to 1915.
