Charles Abram Hill Student File

Student file of Charles Abram Hill, a member of the Oneida nation, who entered the school on June 22, 1887 and ultimately departed on May 19, 1897. The student did not attend the school continuously, but left and reentered. The file contains student information cards, a letter/correspondence, an index card that recommends him as a farmer, a returned student survey, and a report after leaving. The file indicates Hill was a farmer in Oneida, Wisconsin in 1911, 1912, and 1913, and living in West De Pere, Wisconsin in 1914.

Note: in this file the student is identified as Charles Abram Hill, Abram C. Hill, and simply Abram Hill.

Note: This file originally contained an application for enrollment for another student; Abraham M. Hill. The card has since been moved to the correct file; NARA_1327_RG 75_Series 1327_box 154_folder 6044.

NIcodemus Hill Student File

Student file of Nicodemus Hill, a member of the Oneida Nation, who entered the school on August 16, 1889 and ultimately graduated in 1896, departing on March 4, 1896. The student did not attend the school continuously, but left and reentered. The file contains student information cards, a returned student survey and a report after leaving indicating that Hill was a farmer in West De Pere, Wisconsin in 1907 and 1911.

Note: In the file the student is identified as both Herman Nicodemus Hill and Nicodemus Herman Hill.

Student file of Isaac John, a member of the Oneida Nation, who entered the school on September 21, 1890 and ultimately departed on September 30, 1895.  The file contains a student information card, a report after leaving, and a returned student survey that indicates John was working as a farmer in West DePere, Wisconsin in 1911.

Mary Morris Student File

Student file of Mary Morris, a member of the Oneida Nation, who entered the school on September 19, 1895 and departed on July 1, 1901. The file contains a student information card, a returned student survey in which she writes about her siblings, a photograph, and a report after leaving. The file indicates Morris was a housewife in Chicago, Illinois in 1911 and was traveling with M'lle Toona's Indian Company, a traveling vaudeville act based in Chicago, Illinois in 1911.

Wilson Doxtator Student File

Student file of Wilson Doxtator, a member of the Oneida Nation, who entered the school on August 23, 1898 and ultimately left on June 30, 1907. The student did not attend the school continuously, but left and reentered. The file contains student information cards, a former student response postcard, a report after leaving, and a returned student survey. The file indicates Doxtator was working as a farm hand in Sesseton, South Dakota in 1910 and 1913.

Student file of John Schenandore, a member of the Oneida Nation, who entered the school on December 16, 1900, and departed on October 10, 1905.  The file contains a student information card, a returned student survey, a newspaper clipping, and a report after leaving indicating that Schenandore was farming in West De Pere, Wisconsin in 1912.
