Mary Murdock Student File

Student file of Mary Murdock, a member of the Kickapoo Nation, who entered the school on November 3, 1898, and ultimately departed on June 30, 1907. The student did not attend the school continuously, but left and reentered. The file contains student information cards, an application for enrollment, a returned student survey, correspondence, and a report after leaving indicating Murdock was working as a housekeeper in McLoud, Oklahoma in 1910.

Henry Bently (Wa-ka-nas-cook) Student File

Student file of Henry Bently (Wa-ka-nas-cook), a member of the Kickapoo Nation, who entered the school on November 23, 1898, and departed on June 26, 1903.  The file contains a student information card, a returned student survey, a newspaper clipping, and a report after leaving indicating that Bently was working as a farmer in McLoud, Oklahoma in 1911.

Note: In this file, the student is referred to as both Henry Bently and Henry Bentley.

James Down Student File

Student file of James Down (Ma-she-nah), a member of the Kickapoo Nation, who entered the school on November 23, 1898, and departed on June 22, 1904.  The file contains a student information card, a returned student survey, advertisements from Down's tailoring and hatting business, newspaper clipping, a photograph, a report after leaving, and correspondence indicating that Down was a tailor and owned a small business, "The People's Cleaning and Dye Works", in Cushing, Oklahoma in 1913. After leaving Carlisle, Down also attended Shawnee Business College.

George Kishketon Student File

Student file of George Kishketon, a member of the Kickapoo Nation, who entered the school on November 23, 1898 and departed on October 6, 1903. The file contains a student information card, a former student response postcard, a returned student survey, photographs, and a report after leaving. The file indicates that Kishketon attended a Business College in Shawnee, Oklahoma in 1906; was farming in McLoud, Oklahoma in 1910; farming in Shawnee, Oklahoma in 1911; and farming in McLoud, Oklahoma in 1913.

Alex Enekohn Student File

Student file of Alex Enekohn, a member of the Kickapoo Nation, who entered the school on September 21, 1916 and departed on April 6, 1917. The file contains student information cards, an application for enrollment, financial transactions, a medical/physical record, and letters/correspondence. The file indicates Enekohn was a soldier in the U.S. Army stationed in Ft. Clark, Texas.

Note: In the file the student is identified as Alex Ene-kohn and Alex Enokohn.
