Meroney French Student File

Student file of Meroney French, a member of the Cherokee Nation, who entered the school on December 2, 1911, graduated in 1918, and departed on June 8, 1918. The student did not attend the school continuously, but left and reentered. The file contains a student information card, applications for enrollment, medical/physical records, letters/correspondence, outing records, outing evaluations, a certificate of transfer, financial transactions, and certificates of promotion. The file indicates that French studied painting while at Carlisle.

Note: In this file the student is referred to as Meroney French and Meroni French

Morgan French Student Information Cards

Student information cards of Morgan French, a member of the Cherokee Nation, who entered the school on September 16, 1913 and departed on September 7, 1917. A note in the file says he re-enrolled on September 28, 1917. The file indicates French transferred to the Haskell Institute in Lawrence, Kansas upon departing from Carlisle.
