The file indicates Harrison worked for the Bethlehem Steel Co. in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania in 1916 and the Ford Motor Company in Highland Park, Michigan on the outing program in 1916 and 1917.

Thomas D. Slinker Student File

Student file of Thomas D. Slinker, a member of the Choctaw Nation, who entered the school on September 9, 1916 and departed on June 4, 1917. The file contains an application for enrollment, student information cards, financial transactions, certificate of promotion, medical/physical records, and letters/correspondence. Letters in this file from 1917 discuss the performance of the Carlisle Indian School's football team. The file indicates Slinker enlisted in the United States Army and served as part of Company B, 10 Infantry in 1917 stationed at Fort Benjamin Harrison in Lawrence, Indiana and was serving in the American Expeditionary Force in France as a member of Company D, 28th Infantry in 1918.

Wallace Franklin Cooney Student File

Seeley, dated February 23, 1918, indicates that Cooney had returned home to Durant, Oklahoma in order to visit his sick mother.

Note: Students Arthur Bryant and Cecil Bryant were brothers.
