Zepheniah Simons Student File

He did not attend the school continuously, but left and reentered. The file contains student information cards, an application for enrollment, a news clipping, financial transactions, a progress/conduct card, an outing record, and letters/correspondence including a letter indicating Simons had finished the students course at the Ford Motor Company in 1917.

Note: in this file the student is identified as Zeph E. Simons, Zephania Simon, Z. S. Simon, Zephenia Simon, and Zephenia Simons.

Edwin Miller Student File

Student file of Edwin Miller, a member of the Miami Nation, who entered the school on October 24, 1911, graduated in 1917, and ultimately departed on June 9, 1917. The student did not attend the school continuously, but left and reentered. The file contains student information cards, applications for enrollment, letters/correspondence, trade record cards, an outing evaluation, an outing record, financial transactions, and certificates of promotion. The files indicate Miller was interested in painting and carpentry and helped coach the lacrosse team.

Thomas Montoya Student File

Student file of Thomas Montoya, a member of the Pueblo Nation, who entered the school on December 22, 1911, and departed on April 16, 1917. The file contains student information cards, an application for enrollment, outing evaluations, outing records, financial transactions, a photograph, a federal financial aid form, and correspondence mainly regarding Montoya's service in the navy during World War I.

The file indicates that Montoya enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1917, was a member of Company L stationed at the United States Naval Training Station in Norfolk, Virginia in 1917, stationed at the U.S. Naval Station at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba in 1917 and 1918

The file also contains letters and correspondence regarding his whereabouts, transportation, and enrollment at the school, including letters between the school and his brother James Thorpe.
