Stephen Youngdeer Student File

Student file of Stephen Youngdeer, a member of the Cherokee Nation, who entered the school on July 6, 1903 and ultimately departed on September 23, 1912. The student did not attend the school continuously, but left and reentered. The file contains student information cards, trade/position record cards, a financial transaction, letters/correspondence, an outing evaluation, a progress/conduct card, an outing record, an application for enrollment, and a report after leaving indicating that Youngdeer was living in Bee Tree, North Carolina in 1914 and was serving in the United States Army stationed at Camp Sevier, South Carolina in 1918.

William Hodge Student File

Student file of William Hodge, a member of the Klamath Nation, who entered the school on October 11, 1908 and departed on December 13, 1913. The file contains student information cards, trade/position record cards, a photograph, outing records, an application for enrollment, medical/physical records, letters/correspondence, financial transactions, and a report after leaving that indicates Hodge was living in Salem, Oregan at the Chemawa Indian School in 1914 and was living in Requa, California in 1918.

Student information card of Dinah Squirrel, a member of the Cherokee Nation, who entered the school on October 14, 1917 and departed on August 28, 1918. The file indicates Squirrel transferred to the Haskell Institute in Lawrence, Kansas upon the closure of the Carlisle Indian School.
