Joel Archiquetts Student Information Cards

Student information card of Joel Archiquetts, a member of the Oneida Nation, who entered the school on September 13, 1884 and ultimately departed on July 1, 1888.

Note: This student is referred to as Joel Archiquetts and Joel Archiquette.

Belinda Archiquette Student File

Student file of Belinda Archiquette, a member of the Oneida Nation, who entered the school on September 13, 1884, graduated in 1894, and ultimately departed on March 5, 1894. The student did not attend the school continuously, but left and reentered. The file contains student information cards, a returned student survey, and a report after leaving indicating that in 1909 Archiquette had married Simeon Hill and had worked as an assistant matron at Sac and Fox.

Christine Archiquette Student File

Student file of Christine Archiquette, a member of the Oneida Nation, who entered the school on November 7, 1885, and departed on November 30, 1886. The file contains a student information card, a report after leaving, letters and correspondence, and a returned student survey indicating she was living and working as a housekeeper in West De Pere, Wisconsin, in 1911.

 Note: In this file the student's name appears as Christine and Christina.

Note: Christine may be the mother of student Abbie Summers who enrolled in 1910.

Martin D. Archiquette Student File

Student file of Martin D. Archiquette, a member of the Oneida Nation, who entered the school on November 7, 1885, graduatd in 1891, and departed on October 8, 1893. The file contains former student response postcards, a trade/position record card, a student information card, a photograph, a news clipping, returned student surveys, and a report after leaving. The file indicates Archiquette was a disciplinarian and band leader at the Indian School in Fort Simcoe, Washington in 1907 and 1910, overseer of Indian employment at Rocky Ford, Colorado, and superintendent of Grand Portage, Minnesota in 1915.

Student information card of Martin Archiquette, a member of the Oneida Nation, who entered the school on November 7, 1885 and departed on October 8, 1893. The card indicates that Archiquette graduated in 1891, and was living in Grand Portage, Minnesota in 1915.

Chauncey Archiquette Student File

Student file of Chauncey Archiquette, a member of the Oneida Nation, who entered the school on September 21, 1890, graduated in 1899,  and ultimately departed on March 6, 1899. The student did not attend the school continuously, but left and reentered. The file contains student information cards, a former student response postcard, returned student surveys, and a report after leaving. The file indicates Archiquette attended the Haskell Institute in Lawrence, Kansas in 1902, was an assistant clerk at the Carlisle Indian School in Carlisle, Pennsylvania in 1905 and 1906, and was a clerk in Pawhuska, Oklahoma from 1907 to 1911.
