Lillian Otter Chief Student File

Lida Shongo Student File

Student file of Lida Shongo, a member of the Seneca Nation, who entered the school on February 14, 1909 and departed on September 3, 1914. The file contains applications for enrollment, a student information card, a medical/physical record, outing evaluations, outing records of student, a report after leaving, a progress/conduct card, financial transactions, and letters/correspondence. The records indicate that after leaving the school Lida was living in Irving, New York before quickly finding employment in Perrysburg, New York at the J. N. Adams Hospital in 1914. In 1915 she was living in Gowanda, New York and married to William Scott. The latest record shows Lida living in Little Valley, New York in 1917.

Justina Jackson Student File

Student file of Justina Jackson, a member of the Chippewa Nation, who entered the school on September 8, 1910 and departed on June 11, 1913. The file contains a student information card, a progress/conduct card, and a trade record card.

Note: This student has two separate files: 2490 and 2083. This probably occurred due to the misidentification of the materials in 2490 as pertaining to Christie/Christine Jackson.

The file contains a student information card, a medical/physical record, an application for enrollment, outing evaluations, financial transactions, an outing record, and letters/correspondence. The file indicates that One Road returned home to Sisseton, South Dakota in 1915.
