Julia Bent Student File

Student file of Julia Bent, a member of the Cheyenne Nation, who entered the school on September 6, 1880, graduated in 1890, and ultimately departed on July 5, 1893. The student did not attend the school continuously, but left and reentered. The file contains student information cards, a former student response postcard, returned student surveys, and a report after leaving. The file indicates Bent attended the Normal School in Shippensburg, Pennsylvania in 1892 and 1893, was an interpreter and keeping house for her family in Darlington, Oklahoma in 1907 and 1910, and was a housewife and interpreter in Calumet, Oklahoma in 1913.

Student file of Julia Given, a member of the Kiowa Nation, who entered the school on August 31, 1882, and ultimately departed on October 30, 1893. The student did not attend the school continuously, but left and reentered. The file contains student information cards, a former student response postcard, letters and correspondence, a returned student survey, and a report after leaving. The file indicates Given was an assistant field matron at the Kiowa Agency in the Indian Agency in Gotebo, Oklahoma in 1911 and was a housewife in Gotebo, Oklahoma in 1913.

The file contains a student information card, a letter/correspondence, a returned student survey, and a report after leaving indicating Stocker was doing bead work in Darlington, Oklahoma in 1910.

Minnie Shaw Student File

Student file of Minnie Shaw, a member of the Caddo Nation, who entered the school on October 7, 1889 and departed on March 16, 1899. The file contains student information cards, a report after leaving, a returned student survey, and a former student response postcard indicating that Shaw was farming in Binger, Oklahoma in 1914.

Alice Hayes Student File

Student file of Alice Hayes, a member of the Nez Perce Nation, who entered the school on September 7, 1890, and departed June 27, 1900. The file contains a student information card, and letters and correspondence between the school and the Fort Lapwai Indian School from 1914, which indicate an attempt to contact her as her address was unknown.

Susie Reid Student Information Card

Student information card of Susie Reid, a member of the Apache Nation, who entered the school on June 22, 1891 and died on July 29, 1895. She was buried in the cemetry on the school grounds under the name "Susie Reed."

Cynthia Lambert Student File

Student file of Cynthia Lambert, a member of the Clallam Nation, who entered the school on July 7, 1896, and departed on January 8, 1902. The file contains student information cards, a returned student survey, letters, and a report after leaving indicating Lambert was a housewife living in Hoquiam, Washington in 1912. 

Note: Marion Lambert, who entered Carlisle in 1901, is a sister of Cynthia.

Clara Miller Student Information Card

Student information card of Clara Miller, a member of the Tuscarora Nation, who entered the school on January 15, 1897, graduated in 1902, and departed on February 9, 1902.
