Oliver Carpenter Student File

Student file of Oliver Carpenter, a member of the Chippewa Nation, who entered the school on October 27, 1910 and departed on September 7, 1911. The file contains a report after leaving, former student response postcards, a student information card, correspondence, a trade/position record card, a news clipping, a medical/physical record, a progress/conduct card, an application for enrollment, an outing record, and a returned student survey. The file indicates Carpenter was a lumberman and hunter in Cass Lake, Minnesota in 1911 and 1912, a lumberjack in Deer River, Minnesota and Grafton, North Dakota in 1913, and living in Moorhead, Minnesota in 1914.

In school documentation Oliver Carpenter is also known as Oliver A. Carpenter and Arthur Oliver Carpenter.
