Michael La Fernier Student File

Student file of Michael La Fernier, a member of the Chippewa Nation, who entered the school on January 18, 1911 and departed on May 31, 1911. The file contains a student information card, a medical/physical record, an application for enrollment, a returned student survey, a former student response postcard, a news clipping, a financial record, an outing record, a letter/correspondence, and a report after leaving. The file indicates La Fernier was working as a farmer near Odanah, Wisconsin, in Ashland, Wisconsin in 1911, and in Rice Lake, Wisconsin in 1913.

In school documentation Michael La Fernier's name is also spelled Michel LaFernier, Michael La Fernia, Mike La Fernia, and Mike La Frenia.
