Mary Lamotte Student File

Student file of Mary Lamotte, a member of the Menominee Nation, who entered the school on December 11, 1891 and departed on June 15, 1892. The file contains student information cards, a returned student survey, a former student response post card, and a report after leaving indicating that Lamotte was married and living in Keshena, Wisconsin in 1911.

In school documentation Mary Lamotte's married name is Mary Grignon (Mrs. Guss C. Grignon or Mrs. Augustus Grignon).

Note: Lamotte married former student Augustus Grignon and was the mother of Margaret Grignon who later enrolled at the school.
