Mabel Brunette Student File

Student file of Mabel Brunette, a member of the Chippewa Nation, who entered the school on October 27, 1910 and departed on June 1, 1915. The file contains a trade/position record card, an application for enrollment, a medical/physical record, student information cards, outing evaluations, financial transactions, a federal financial aid form, a progress/conduct card, outing records, and correspondence. The file indicates Brunette was living in Mahnomen, Minnesota in 1916 and was training to be a nurse at the City and County Hospital Training School for Nurses in St. Paul, Minnesota in 1916.

In school documentation Mabel Brunette's name is also spelled Maybelle Brunette and Mabelle Brunette. She is also known as Mable Burnett and Charlotte Brunette.
