Student file of Louis Bero, a member of the Mohawk Nation, who entered the school on September 12, 1906 and ultimately departed on June 8, 1918. The student did not attend the school continuously, but left and reentered. The file contains applications for enrollment, letters/correspondence, a medical/physical record, certificates of promotion, an outing record, financial transactions, student information cards, a returned student survey, and a report after leaving indicating Bero was living in Hogansburg, New York in 1910.
Note: These documents were found in two separate folders at the U.S. National Archives: RG 75_Series 1327_box 41_folder 2014 and RG 75_Series 1327_box 133_folder 5229.
Note: Students Louis Bero and Peter Bero were probably brothers.
