Jesse Brave Hawk Student File

Student file of Jesse Brave Hawk, a member of the Sioux Nation, who entered the school on September 16, 1910 and departed on May 22, 1911. The file contains a former student response postcard, a student information card, a medical/physical record, an application for enrollment, a trade/position record card, a progress/conduct card, and a report after leaving. The file indicates Brave Hawk was a raising horses in Cut Meat, South Dakota in 1914 and was working as a tailor in Cut Meat, South Dakota in 1915.

In school documentation Jesse Brave Hawk's name is also spelled Jesse Bravehawk and Jessie Brave Hawk. He is also known as Jesse Gabriel.
