Emma Newashe Student File

Student file of Emma Newashe, a member of the Sac and Fox Nation, who entered the school on September 2, 1905, graduated in 1912, and ultimately departed on April 11, 1912. The student did not attend the school continuously, but left and reentered. The file contains a student information card, correspondence, medical/physical documents, applications for enrollment, outing evaluations, a former student response postcard, a trade/position card, a progress/conduct card, outing records and a report after leaving. The file also contains documents discussing Emma's diagnosis of appendicitis and the best facility for her to be treated in. The file indicates Newashe was a housewife living in Oklahoma in 1913.

In school documentation Emma Newashe's name is also spelled Emma Nawashe. Her married name is Emma McAllister (Mrs. F. A. McAllister).
