Edward Janis Student File

Student file of Edward Janis, a member of the Sioux Nation, who entered the school on October 10, 1886 and departed on May 4, 1887. The file contains a student information card, correspondence, and a report after leaving indicating that Janis was working as a stockraiser in Kyle, South Dakota in 1910.

In school documentation Edward Janis' name is also spelled Edward Jannies.

Janis is the father of two other students: Elizabeth and Kiva Janis.
